Jack started playing bass at an early age and was a full-time road musician at age 18. His musical travels have taken him to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, California, Canada, and Alaska. During his career he’s played for Congressman, a Governor’s inauguration and numerous concerts for radio stations KBSG and KTAC with Rock and Roll hall of fame member Gene Clark (The Byrds) and blues guitar great Elvin Bishop. Jack owns and operates Tacoma Based, “Sluggo Music.” Over the past 30 years, he has managed to create an icon in the greater Tacoma area. Sluggo Music is known throughout the musical community as a true working musicians music store. On many occasions, while visiting the store, you can look behind you in line at the cash register to find a major label recording artist stopping in for some last minute purchases prior to taking the stage. Jack possesses an innate ability to quickly lock into the pocket and has mastered maintaining the all too important “Groove.” When not playing music he tries to catch as many baseball, football, and basketball games as he can either in person or on TV.
