Rachel discovered her passion for singing at the age of three. She began performing in Musical Theater. Early influences include Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and Patsy Cline. In high school, Jazz Choir caught her ear as she sang and learned to appreciate various genres. As a young lady, she hosted karaoke at a local tavern and soon thereafter landed her first front line position with the seven-piece Funk, Pop, and Disco band, The Hit Connections, where she toured the local circuit entertaining crowds with her high energy performances in nightclubs and casinos. Rachel’s love for singing ignited more when she joined her father’s band, Gunshy, a Classic Rock band. She’s been spotted singing at jam sessions and as a guest vocalist with other bands. Rachel received top honors when she won the Auburn Idol competition in 2007. Other accomplishments include recording on albums with numerous Pacific Northwest Jazz and Gospel Artists. Rachel made her television debut singing on TBN for a Holiday Special. Her fondest memories include dancing and singing with Vanilla Ice at The I Love the 90’s Tour and meeting Country Star Darius Rucker.
